If you want to update your BB device to 7.1 ( if applicable) without waiting the operator confirmation or approval (as they do), just follow these steps:

1- Download software exe from BlackBerry Official site ( about 254 MB)
2- Install the exe it on your machine ( PC or Mac)
3- search for file named "Vendor.xml" in your system. For Windows it will be located on two possible places : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
and in
C:\Users\Mohamed\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
4- Delete these files
5- Open "Loader.exe" from the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader"
6- Enjoy upgrading your BB :)

Tested on my BB new Curve 9360

Don't forget to backup your device before anything :)

Here's some good news for all your BlackBerry owners. GotoCamera, the world's leading surveillance, monitoring, and security service with over 100,000 customers from over 180 countries, has come out with a free BlackBerry app for their customers. All that one needs to do, is set-up an account with them and hook up a webcam to monitor their home, office or business. Once the account is set-up, you can access your cameras (snapshots and videos), view and manage your camera footage stored on the GotoCamera servers, and change your motion detection settings. The best part about this service? - It's FREE!
